Programa: Ruta 40 Clasica Ingles (Ruta 40)

DAY 1- S.C DE BARILOCHE-LOS ALERCES NATIONAL PARK -TREVELIN- ESQUEL
We began an interesting route towards EL BOLSON, first ecologist municipality of Patagonia Argentina, located in the limits of the parallel 42 and natural’s borders of the provinces of RIO NEGRO and CHUBUT. We continue the trip towards CHOLILA and the National Park LOS ALERCES. Box Lunch included.
To the height of Arrayanes River we will cross the handing footbridge and we will visit the footpath of interpretation in the middle of an intense forest of varied flora.
We continued bordering the Futalaufquen Lake towards TREVELIN, locality colonized in 1885 by expeditionary Wales. We will have time to visit the locality and taste a traditional tea Wales, soon we continued to arrive at the city of ESQUEL – Dinner and Overnight
DAY 2- ESQUEL-LOS ANTIGUOS
We had breakfast and soon we began our route between wooded valleys to get to LOS ANTIGUOS.
On the way we will stop in GOBERNADOR COSTA for Lunch and then continue by the steppe towards LOS ANTIGUOS – Buenos Aires Lake – Dinner and Overnight.
DAY 3- LOS ANTIGUOS- CUEVAS DE LAS MANOS PINTADAS ( Cave of the Painted Hands )-ESTANCIA ( Ranch )
We had breakfast and then we began to cross 230 Km until arriving at the CAÑADON of Paintings River, where we will find the tracks that our ancestors left, represented in cave paintings of 8000 or 10000 years of antiquity, they conserve its beauty and interest for those privileged people who can contemplate them. (During 1999 they were declared Natural Monument of the Humanity for UNESCO)
Lunch box with drinks included. During the afternoon, we will continue towards our place of lodging in a Patagonian Ranch. Dinner and Overnight
DAY 4- ESTANCIA (Ranch) – EL CHALTEN
After having breakfast, in the morning we continued our adventure in direction of route 40 throughout the day in the middle of varied fauna such us foxes, guanacos, condors among others. That accompanied us until arriving at the National capital of the Trekking EL CHALTEN .Dinner and overnight
DAY 5- EL CHALTEN-EL CALAFATE
After having breakfast, in the morning, we will visit EL CHALTEN village and we will continue our route by 35 Km (22 miles) until arriving at the lake LAGO DEL DESIERTO, where we will do a trekking ( about 40 minutes) to Huemul glacier .Lunch box included .To average afternoon we left for EL CALAFATE, colorful place located on the foot of the hill Caliphate and to the borders of Lake LAGO ARGENTINO. Dinner and Overnight.
DAY 6- GLACIAR PERITO MORENO.
Alter having breakfast we will journey the south coast of the ARGENTINO Lake, we will enter the National Park and we will cross the Magellan’s peninsula .
Lunch box included. Once in the viewpoint there are footbridges that go from the RICO’s arm to the Channel of the Tempanos (in front of the Glaciers) allowing different views. Dinner and Overnight
DAY 7- DAY AT LEISURE (OPCIONAL EXCURSION) Dinner and Overnight

DAY 8 – TRANSFER TO THE AIRPORT //END OF OUR SERVICES

Services are the same in both classes ( Tourist and Superior), the difference is in the level of the Hotels. It includes Excursion Full Day Perito Moreno’s Glacier and all the meals and the nights of hotel that are detailed in the itinerary.
